Academic Writtings on Technology

I would love to share about my English assessment task 3. This particular unit has thought me about academic writings on technology. I 100%agree that academic writing is a great place to check out my writing skills. We will learn how to think, read, argue, and write about great ideas all at one time. For this unit, I choose e-Books as my topic. This topic was very challenging, and yet it is interesting at the same time. I was assigned to make a compare and contrast, persuasive, reflection, research, and opinion’s texts about the topic that I’ve chosen in different form such as blog, essays, and visual media.

My best writings will be the compare and contrast or research texts because I think both of them are very interesting to write and not as hard as the others. One way to improve my writing skills in the future was keep practicing and read a lot more English books. My success on this task was on the time management, I have organized my time wisely and I can finish the assignment and drafts at the right time. My failure was on the editing process because I have a hard time organizing my topic sentences and grammar. Luckily, Mrs Karla and Miss Laura allow me and my classmates to collect drafts before the real assignments are due. I have a great time in doing this assignment, academic writing has really improved my writings skill and helps me to prepare for the future once I get in to college or university in another one or two year.
