Blog: reflection of my learning process

In this 3rd assessment English task, I learned useful lessons on how to construct good academic writing formal texts. The texts I made were the complete essay, partial essays, multimedia visual text, and including this blog, too. I found it interesting when choosing any topics (about technology) that I like and doing the writings. So far, there are some major reasons of the effectiveness of this lesson.

Generally, I do not arrange an outline before making an essay, but now I try to do so because the outcome of the essay should be better. I was taught to create my own thesis that has challenged me to state what I belief and proof it by searching supporting sources on the internet. More important, I practice to build specific topic sentences for each different paragraph which is hard. Good grammars and more complex vocabularies are also required to make an essay looked formal. Lastly, making footnotes and bibliography has helped me to be honest and more responsible.

Handphone is my major topic and I saw many things that I can discuss about the gadget. The piece I like the most is the opinion complete essay which was about Handphone for Kids. I thought that it is one of important issues that many parents must consider before they give the child their first phone. This has helped me to become more critical in order to make an unusual yet interesting essay.

In conclusion, I study to improve my writing based on the processes of this task. I usually made inappropriate essays but now I try to make better ones and go through some editing processes. After all essays have been completed, I felt satisfy more than ever.
