I would like to share my experiences through English Assessment Task Three. In this Assessment, I was supposed to create a portfolio of academic writing with the theme about technology issue. That academic writing consists of compare\contrast, research, persuasive, and reaction\opinion texts. I was assigned to create all this four types of academic writing in different forms such as complete essay, partial essay, visual\multimedia, and blog entry. I was really surprised when Mrs. Karla and Miss Laura told me that our theme supposed to be about technology issue because I felt that I did not really know much about technology. The form of Partial Essay was challenging much for me because I have never assigned to make this kind of essay.

 For this task, I choose YouTube as my main topic. From my topic, I learned more specifically about YouTube and its unique technology and I found that this particular media technology was very fun. This task was improved much my academic writing because I learned how to develop more abstract, formal writing. I am proud of my compare\contrast complete essays because I did much correction to it and I have already familiar in that kind of essay. In the future, I can improve my writing by making correction to all my pieces which have mistakes and reading much English books. My failure on this task was on editing my pieces because I did not organize my time wisely. My success on this task was on organizing structure of each essay. Overall, this task has become lessons for me of how to develop perfect academic writing.
